The story of this series is about criminal investigation based on the real case of the Hwasong serial murders. 20 years ago, Ha Mo Yeom's father (Yoon Sang Hyun) was a suspect in the Gap Dong serial murder case. He committed suicide due to the aggressive interrogations of the case inspector. After 20 years, Mo Yum becomes an inspector and begins his work to find the real killer. Due to the passage of time, Moe-eum has limitations in his work on the case. He withdraws from this case because he believes that the killer is no longer alive, but in the meantime, he finds a new clue.
