The King and I 2007 - Korean Series
"I and the King" narrates the life story of Kim Cho-sun, the best eunuch in the Joseon era. Cho Sun secretly loves his childhood friend, Su Hua, but cannot express his love due to social class differences. Finally, with the engagement of Su Hua and King Songjong, he also enters the palace as a eunuch to care for and support Su Hua. Soo Hua, who was the second concubine of the king at the beginning, later became the queen of Jehoon, but in the meantime, she became a victim of the intense conflict of political parties and was deprived of her title and quietly kicked out of the palace. Despite Cho Sun's efforts to help Su Hua, he is sentenced to death. As ordered, Cho Sun delivers Su Hua to prison, and the woman he has loved all his life dies before his eyes. After his death, Cho San takes care of Su Hua's son, Prince Yun San.
