This series is about a tragic love story between Princess Soyang's daughter and Kim Jong-soo's son. Kim Jong-soo's son, Song Yoo (Park Shi-hoo), is a handsome man, very wise and respectable. Princess Sereong (Moon Chae won), the daughter of King Seju, known as Princess Seoyang, is a happy and lively lady. He is very curious, brave and daring. Those two people immediately fall in love, but later they realize that their fathers are each other's blood enemies. In fact, this series is the Korean version of Romeo and Juliet.
